How does a cooler actually function with the transmission and engine?
Heated fluid is generated by the engine, power steering pump or transmission. The air moving over the fins of the transmission cooler cools down the fluid, which is then routed back to the transmission, engine or power steering pump in a continuous loop through the return line.
